Karl Porter

Karl Porter is a Stand-up Comedian, Comedy Actor and a Social Media Personality.
Originally from Salford, Karl studied Comedy Practices at University and has ever since been entertaining audiences on stage all throughout the UK and gaining a large following online with followers from all over the world.
With a style of high energy physical comedy, full of deft act-outs, he skilfully brings to life the characters he encounters.

Karl has won various competitions throughout his career including King-Gong at The Comedy Store, Up-the-Creek Comedy competition in London and more recently winning 2 awards at the 2024 North West Comedy Awards for Social Media Act and Breakthrough Act of the Year.

After doing the rounds on the comedy circuit for many years, Karl had a turning point in 2023 when a clip of his Comedy Routine went viral on social media. The slow motion goal celebration Karl impressively acted out gained over 50 Million views on his Instagram page alone and was shared on multiple platforms all over the world, Karl then featured in interviews about his viral fame on BBC News, TalkSport, ESPN, NewZealand Breakfast, BT Canada and many more.
Karl went on to perform at the launch of EA Sports 2023, opening the show before Rio Ferdinand took to the stage.

Karl has been on the road performing the very successful “Karl Porter and Friends” show, selling out venues such as The Hot Water Comedy Club, The Glee Club and Lowry Theatre.

Karl has collaborated with  brands such as Lidl, Frankie & Bennys, EA Sports, Prime Energy Drinks, multiple clothing brands and Lad Bible, which even nominated Karl as their 2023 “Lad of The Year”.
